Innovation, quality and sustainability are the core values of Ecohardwood.
In our state-of-the-art factory, we have combined mature natural oak with the world's most advanced sustainable, carbon neutral and fire-retardant German Ecoboard, time-tested for over 30 years.
The German Ecoboard sandwiched between the natural oak is now available in our stores. Even better value for the quality! This advanced 3-layer floorboard structure guarantees maximum all-dimensional stability. Ecoboard's highest quality is confirmed by regular external inspections, laboratory tests, and research. It is ideal for underfloor heating and doesn't dilute or crumble if exposed to moisture.
Ecoboard is durable, stable, and environmentally friendly, just like all of our products. In order to ensure the highest quality, we only sell wood flooring that we manufacture ourselves. With over 20 years' experience on the market, our product is recognized by industry experts.
Engineered oak wood flooring is our specialty, and we never compromise on quality.
Although it is new to the UK wood flooring market, we developed one of our most successful innovations, oak floorboards on an eco-friendly Ecoboard base, 15 years ago. Due to the product's attractive price-quality ratio, it immediately became a bestseller in Europe.
Ecoboard products has been laid on more than 1.5 million square meters of floor space, demonstrating its recognition by our customers as well as our partners, including architects, developers, and designers.
The engineered oak on Ecoboard is perfect for underfloor heating. As well as being durable and resistant to external factors, it is also extremely stable when exposed to changes in moisture and temperature. Therefore, Ecohardwood wooden floors can be laid in a kitchen, bathroom, or in any room where temperature changes, humidity, or high moisture are present.
We always remind our customers to ask what materials are used to make the floorboards. In the process of making the attachments to the base layer of the oak, we use formaldehyde-free polyurethane glue to attach the top layer of oak to the base layer. A similar safe glue is used in the production of the Ecoboard base.
Identifying the glue used for floorboard construction is important because harmful glues can evaporate while heating, putting your health at risk.
What is the best way to recognize whether a product is made responsibly and sustainably while respecting nature and the extremely precious, slowly renewable natural resource - oak? The FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council™) certification ensures that the products' materials come from sustainably managed forests.
Besides our Dubava plant (Ukraine), which we control directly, we also source wood from France, Belgium, and Poland. Ecoboard is also made from wood that has PEFC® (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) and FSC® certified (FSC® C007915) chain of custody certificates.
Therefore, when you purchase our product, you are assured to walk on solid, long-lasting floors that are welcoming and cosy. Moreover, such a product offers good heat permeability, eco-friendly and safe materials, high resistance to moisture and temperature fluctuations, and a favorable quality-price ratio.
Ecoboard not only saves trees, it also helps farmers, whose livelihood still depends largely on farming, earn additional income.
