The homeowners played an active role in the design process, incorporating natural accents like wooden feature walls and clay plaster finishes. A key element of the home’s design is the natural oak flooring, chosen for its environmental benefits and durability. This oak flooring not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also provides a practical solution for a busy family home.

At the heart of the home is the living room, dominated by a massive orange sofa. This statement piece was a priority for the homeowners from the beginning. "We coordinated all the accents, including the wood floor colour, to complement this sofa," says Girste Urbaityte. The result is a harmonious space that balances colour and comfort.

According to Urbaityte, herringbone oak flooring was practical choice as well as it was stylish: “With a family of four, including two young children, it was essential to choose scratch-resistant flooring that combines both beauty and functionality.”
