One of our standout collaborations is the ‘Date Night’ Nucleus Media Room, designed by an award-winning residential and commercial interior designer Alex Dauley for the WOW!house 2025. This prestigious annual event brings together some of the world’s most respected and rising interior designers and architects to create a full-scale showhouse - room by room - offering an immersive experience of luxury, creativity, and innovation, right in the heart of one of London's most influential design destinations: Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour.

As part of this celebrated showcase Alex Dauley - renowned for her soulful, holistic, emotive approach to design - was invited to craft a Nucleus Media Room with atmosphere, intimacy, and elegance. The result was ‘Date Night’: a deeply personal, layered and luxurious space designed as the perfect escape.

Alongside an incredible lineup of artisans and suppliers, and after an extensive search for the right product, Alex selected one of Ecohardwood’s signature products - Diamond oak parquet, finished in the Chiana colour from our Mastri Toscani (Masters of Tuscany) collection.

“It’s unusual to find product of that quality,” said Alex Dauley during the process. “It took me quite a while to find the perfect flooring, but then I came across this Diamond parquet at Ecohardwood. I looked at the Chiana finish, which is rich and warm and has depth to it, and I knew that this intricate pattern paired with that finish was the ideal solution for the WOW!house space. I was so impressed by the quality of the flooring.”

The Chiana colour, named after the lush Tuscan valley, brought a grounded, earthy richness to the space - adding depth, texture, and a sense of timeless beauty that complemented the romantic and intimate tone of the room. The Diamond pattern, known for its precision-cut geometry, elegance, and complexity, provided a striking architectural base that enhanced the room’s overall sense of refinement.

Our signature product – Diamond parquet – represents Ecohardwood’s commitment to detail, beginning with oak trees from sustainably managed forests that have grown for over 120 years. The wood then undergoes a slow drying process lasting more than 30 days, followed by precision engineering and expert craftsmanship. Only high-quality, eco-friendly materials are used, ensuring the floors are beautiful, responsible and last for generations.
